PIX4Dmatic now supports processing for FUJIFILM GFX100S II
PIX4Dmatic now supports the Fujifilm GFX100S II. The camera features a 102-megapixel large-format sensor with approximately four times the image area of an APS-C sensor. It enables high-resolution aerial capture from a distance and helps maintain clarity when zooming in, making it well-suited to inspection and surveying.
With this support, users can generate orthomosaics and high-resolution 3D models (point clouds and meshes) in PIX4Dmatic. The software is optimized for fast, stable processing of large datasets, even when working with many large-format images.

From infrastructure inspection—such as bridges, transmission towers, and plant facilities—to high-resolution orthomosaics over earthworks and wide areas, and detailed exterior 3D models for cultural heritage and architecture, combining the resolution of GFX100S II with the processing performance of PIX4Dmatic brings overview and detail together in a single workflow. In addition, mounting the GFX on Ishikawa Energy Research’s industrial drone Build Flyer—equipped with RTK—supports stable flight and the reliable capture of ultra-high-resolution imagery for surveying and inspection.
